One MAC question?

My MAC isn't what it used to be when I first turned it on. The bottom line is, it's slower. Is there any free program out there that acts like the windows program that lets you delete anything you wish. Something that shows you all the files on your computer and lets you delete it. Something that cleans up your MAC. I need some good maintenance program please. 10 points to first answer with good program.
