Hi there,
I think Comodo is a more reputable company with regards to firewall support, however sometimes I think that something so technical and so serious (protecting your data) requires you to actually pay for a professional and secure firewall, such as Kaspersky Internet Security.
But hey, that’s just my opinion

Yes, I have tried both of them. & in my opinion, I would vote for COMODO Firewall Pro.
It has all the basic functions of firewall, security, malware scan, and moreover, it’s free. It’s lighter than any other firewall I ever knew, and doesn’t even affect the internet speed at all !!!.
Certainly! COMODO Firewall Pro !!!
Cheers!!!

Hi
Matousec is a very misleading site. It only tests the outbound protection, not the inbound, and seems to think it is the ultimate authority of firewall testing (i.e. wants everyone to conform to their personal view of what features a firewall should have).
But if you put it in context and take it has a general guide it is useful.
Both firewalls provide excellent protection with HIPS. Online Armor does not have file protection, unlike Comodo, but Online Armor has Run Safer, which makes programs run under Limited User if you set it to - this greatly enhances security.
Also, Online Armor has much fewer pop ups than Comodo, making it easier to use. Some people say you can just reduce the protection level of Comodo if you want less pop ups, but personally I think this is pointless as it gives you less security.

Online Armor much easier to configure and use set/up leave alone it once set up is completed mostly automatic less pop ups to annoy you, tried comodo liked it but needed a lot of input and study to understand the program, more for advanced users i reckon.Online Armor easier.
