Password problems with Windows Recovery console?

September 15th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I’m trying to run Windows recovery console due to corrupt DDL files. It keeps asking for an Administrator password, but I never set one up. It’s not enabled. I even tried setting one through Setup, no luck. Help!! Thanks for reading.

Generally, the admin password is blank unless you set one up.

Just hit Enter when it asks for the password.

I have seen it defaulted to “Admin” (no quotes).
