its weird that there is no scan button on it. it only scans for rootkits. i installed it, because it is free antispyware and was highly ranked. is it reliable?

It has no scan button?? It’s been awhile since I’ve used it, but it has a scan button so don’t know what’s going on with your install. See this picture of threatfire. page 4 I don’t think you can scan just a file, when you do a scan it’s your whole computer.
