I had msn live 8.5 installed Windows Live Messenger 2009 14.0.5027.908 Beta, I could not make a connection to the server at all and when I tried to uninstall Windows Live Messenger 2009 14.0.5027.908 Beta there was no uninstall option in add remove programs. I had to delete it and remove all the registry entries to get the old version back. I will not recommend it to anyone.
