I’ve used: Opera, Safari, and Internet Explorer, all three are horribly slow! A lot of times pages won’t even load it is so frusterating! Ive done virus scans: no viruses/ ad aware: no spyware/ ccleaner and even deleted some programs but it is still slow! I called the intenet provider and he said the modem is working above average? There’s absolutely no reason why the computer should be this slow please help someone. And I can’t buy any programs. Thanks to all to post a helpful answer! in fact, it keeps saying theres either internal connection error or cant connect to remote server whenever i try to post this question, if that helps.

Could be a hardware configuration problem or even a hardware problem. Does activities like word and other desktop items load and run correctly?

Try Mozilla FireFox. Its real good. Try to obtain a new ip adress. its probably that or u need to configure ur modem and internet

When was the last time that you deleted, history, temporary internet files and cookies? Open Internet Explorer (IE) and click on “Tools” near the top right! Then click on “Internet Options” selection near or on the bottom. On the “General” tab, you can delete these things! Close IE! When you are ready you may open a browser and hopefully it will be faster now.

I presume virus as modem is working above avg.
