  It is likely that the warning you were clicking on was actually spyware too. Spybot Search and Destroy is free http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html It may be a good idea to take it somewhere (probably not Best Buy, they charge too much) and get it cleaned up. I don't know what the stats of your computer are but if it's running so slow it might be more than just spyware.

  never do that. Those are devious ways that people highjack your computer. You probably have tons of spyware and virus'. You need an antivirus program.
