Problem when modifying uxtheme.dll?

Okay, i'm posting this for a friend since he cant open his firefox currently. He wanted to install a new theme on his computer (windows vista), so he modified uxtheme.dll (file name) like it said to on the theme installation instructions, he then proceeded to restart his computer.

He is currently using msn on his xbox. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
