problem with avast antivirus?

I have a virus on my computer, and many people on this site recommend it so I downloaded avast antivirus. The problem is that it’s been 30 minutes since I started the scan, and it’s only 1% complete with 40,000 files scanned.
I also had Mcafee, Spybot S&D, and AVG
they all failed….

yeah they do stuff like that! You should really get someone in…avast antivirus is just scanning so it’s not like it’s even getting rid of the virus. Have it solved professionaly or buy a good replacement antivirus. It may cost you some money but it’s better than having a crashed computer…
