I was installing a Norton Disc and on-line with Symantec, when my Battery Failed — Stupid Me !!
However — I am NOW having Issues with trying to –
Complete the Install
- OR -
Uninstall and Start Over
Nothing is Working.
Anyone Familiar with this Syndrome (not my Stupidity — The Installation 
Any Feedback is Appreciated

boot into safe mode and manually remove the norton files
then throw the disc away
norton is useless
use avast or avg its free and 10 times better

It could be the file your using to install is corrupt. You can try this remover if any files have been installed and restart the computer and attempt the install again.

The best way to re-install any Norton or Symantec program is to go to http://www.symantec.com. In the search box type SYMNRT. Download it and run it. This will remove all pieces of any Norton or Symantec program in your machine. Then reboot and start your install again.

I agree with anonymous, throw away the norton cd, or return it. It is a piece of shit. If you want a good, fast, reliable virus-killin program, it would be Avast! Avast personal edition is free you know.

Do not Trust Any Security for Symantec. Unistall Norton Anti-Virus is Rubish. Uninstall Go Start>Control Panel>ADD OR Remove Program>Norton Anti-Virus. Or Use Revo Uninstaller Press this Link http://www.revouninstaller.com/
