Problem with Steam and Kaspersky?

Ever since I have installed Kaspersky, all of my Steam internet connections aren't working. When I try to play TF2, I get the error 'Steam servers are currently too busy to handle your request.' When I try to do anything else on Steam that involves the internet, it tells me that my ticket has expired and askes me to log back in. How can I fix this?
