Problem with WinAmp and AVG?

im an avid listener of music and im getting really frustrated because of this problem im having with winamp…

one time when I opened my Winamp ver 5.44 AVG will pop up and say that it is a trojan

then another window will popup and say that “winamp has encountered a problem and needs to close.”

i tried removing winamp, reinstalling and i even tried downloading a new installer from the website itself…
