When I go to Windows Security Center from control panel, it'll say that all four security options (firewall, automatic updates, malware protection, and other security settings) are turned on and highlighted green. My problem is when I click on firewall and malware protection, it says that "8vfrv+n097/p9OK/6ffvv+n35eC/ reports that it is currently turned on", as opposed to Mcafee firewall and Virus Scan being in those places. I just got finished talking to a Mcafee tech who said Mcafee is actively protecting my computer, and this is a Windows error. Can anyone tell me how I can fix this? Thank you.

he is correct, McAfee works as you can see if you check out McAfee security center. Don't be concerned about the windows security center. If it is indicating that all is on and working, then you are fine. btw, i also use McAfee, all is protected and the windows security is all green. the virus protection is green because McAfee has that covered.
