problems while installing kaspersky internet security 2009?

friends, i am trying to install kaspersky internet security 2009 but i am having problems. i was earlier using avg 8 free version and i uninstalled it. now, when i am trying to install kaspersky, it still tells me to uninstall avg but avg has been removed
so how do i go about it
please help,
