i have in my pc Bit Dfender and AVG but i already uninstall them a week ago but my BitDef wont uninstall so i manually delete all bitdefender files in my drive then it comletely deletes and the avg is ok when i uninstall it. Now whenever i install kas2009 it always prompt of the two incompatible anti viruses that i should uninstall i restart and install in safe mode but nothing happen. what will i do, now i temprarily use mcafee. Please no recomendation of other AntiVirus just KASPERSKY 2009!!!

Just download and install CCleaner from http://www.ccleaner.com/download and run its registry tool to clean the unwanted registy information. and use the tools to uninstall the previously installed AV

The problem in this case is that are still traces of bitdefender files available in your system and this is affecting the installation of kaspersky 2009 .which detects that another antivirus is running in your system.fist ,you have to remove the traces of the bitdefender left in your system.I recommend you to use either " Uninstall Tool or Total Uninstall " to remove the trcaes of bit defender in your system.If you have installed mcaffe ,remove that also from your system.
Second,you use tuneup to clean your system( use click maintainence in tuneup 2008)
Third,install kaspersky 2009
It would work fine
Note:More than 1 anti-virus in a system creates conflict with the other

yes I use Kaspersky myself–and also CCleaner which has an options column where you can choose to uninstall software—please try it —get it from http://www.filehippo.com
