Yeah, I know the money is supposed to be used for me, and to provide for me. And I gave her it to hold on to it,and she spent a lot of it on things we don't need, and things for her. I hardly had any of it to buy things for me. And whenever we talk about it, she just ends up yelling and cussing at me.I don't know what I should donow… I could tell her that I could just hold on to the money, so she doesn't spend it, but she says that she needs to have it… I don't know. So does anyone have any advice on what I should do?
Thanks.

Sit down with your mother and write down a budget. Place that particular amount of money in an account. You take the remainder and place it into some type of investment account.

if you can handle your own finances you should. if you are grown and living with her, contribute to the household, but let her know you need things for yourself and give her all of what you get. you may come out cheaper looking into subsidized housing for yourself.

Are you old enough to cash your own checks? give her some but keep some for yourself also before she takes it all now if you need someone over your checks then see about having someone else over your checks
