I recently installed ad-aware 2007 on my computer and I scan my system all the time. right now my statistics state the following.
total infections detected: 588
total infections removed: 57
total infections quarantined: 0
what are the infections detected and why cant I find the option to remove them? because after I scan the system there is no indication in the box that there is anything to remove, and when I click the button that says “quarantine” nothing friggin happens. what does all of this mean?
part 2. then my AVG Anti-Virus is telling me that “you may not be protected some components report an error” but I run a scan on that and it tell me there is “no threats” what the heck does this mean? Please…. Thanks.

I think the prob with adaware is that there are multiple tabs to select when it's finished a scan, something like high threat, low threat, etc. Make sure you select them all first, then click next to remove them.
It sounds like your AVG program is out of date… have you tried updating it? What is the error it gives (what component) on the main page?
