I'm using my aunt's laptop, and there's a pop-up in the bottom right corner of the screen. It is for Trend Micro AntiVirus. There are two x's but I can't seem to click them.
It says,
"Your security software has expired! Now that you cannot download any more sexurity updates, your computer may start to perform more slowly and erratically once infected with malicious software. Click Renew now to restore your protection!"
She does not want to pay right at this moment to renew this AntiVirus program. Does anyone know how to get this pop-up to go away.?

Yeah un-install it or ignore it.

use avast free. works well,,, you will need to uninstall trend
download and install the microsoft MSI cleanup utility
http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9…1bd/msicuu2.exe
launch utility and browse for trendmicro. If located then click on it once and the click on remove.
If you don't see it or this does not resolve the issue please let me know.
