The screen is blue in the bottom right corner which is effecting the picture quality. The blue also stretches across the bottom of the screen from the bottom right corner to about the middle of the screen. However along the bottom it is not nearly as noticeable. The effected area seems to be “growing”.
I’ve had the TV since June 2005. I replaced the lamp in March of this year. I do not have any indications that the lamp is bad. I read the trouble shooting section of my manual. The only possibility I could find in the manual is to make sure that nothing is near the TV such as a magnet that could be causing this. I cleared everything away just to be sure. Problem is still there.
I would appreciate any help in this matter. Thank you.

Oh dear sounds very expensive this fault is 99/100 caused by a faulty light tunnel,this is the unit that the lamp light is directed into, a very narrow opening consisting of a tunnel internally coated in mirrors,you will almost always find a small spec of dust has got inside and because of the extreme heat it burns and distorts one of the mirrors the cost will shock you can be upto £450 plus fitting good luck……
