Well I already have registry cleaner, I have Ccleaner. And I ran a Registry scan, and it came up with some problems. It asks me if I want to fix the selected registry issues, I've never used a registry cleaner, So i'm wondering should i fix them??
**Some of the problems it detected were– "Invalid default icon", "Unused file extension", "Active X/COM Issue", etc….
So basically should I fix them?? I dont want to mess up my pc.

windows does a pretty good job with the registry, I never have had to do anything with my reg and personally I think all that reg cleaner stuff is crap.

Can you create a "system restore point" if so go ahead, used CC on Vista and XP without any problems. Try NCleaner also.

Go right ahead!!
CCleaner is an excellent tool. It will give you the option of backing up the registry on before hand for you and I would recommend you let it do that.
