I just downloaded and ran Uniblue Registry cleaner and like an idiot, I didn't do enough research before executing the program. After watching scan for over an hour and only about 1/4 of the way through it said I already over 5000 errors/problems. I got suspicious because my computer is almost brand new. So I stopped the scan and didn't do anything else.
My question is, since I didn't clean any of the files, if I remove the program will it affect anything in my registry? I'm using Vista premium 64bit if that makes any difference on a Gateway 6860 FX.

I doubt it would cause any problems removing it.
A good rule of thumb with Registry Cleaners is don't use them unless you ABOSULUTY need to.

No, you're safe, I would recommend using CCleaner for this, just google it.

No it will not effect your files. Just to add and remove in control panel and uninstall it.

You should be good to go if you do the following when uninstalling:
1: Remove it from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel
2. Make sure that it is not on your list of Programs on the Start Menu.
3. Go into your Hard Drive - Press Program Files, and search to see if you see "Uniblue Registry Cleaner"
If you see it, delete it manually from there by selecting it and pressing delete.
Then you should be safe.
Download the Registry Mechanic from :
http://www.pctools.com
and then on youtube Search "Registry Mechanic" , there should be one video that has a License Name and Code for everyone to use, making this amazing program free .
Cheers!

If your computer is slow. Use Spyware Doctor and Registry Mechanic. Download them at http://www.download.com or you may find them free at some forums. But those two are the best to repair your registry, remove spyware and adware to boost up your computer fast as normal!
