I had Vista on my laptop, but the Sims 2 wouldn’t play correctly, so we had it uninstalled and had XP put on. We were told by EA that this would work. It didn’t. Our Sims 2 is still not working on my laptop, but it works just fine on my husband’s and it’s the exact same computer and it also has XP. What’s wrong?
You all are harsh. Listen, It starts up, the problem is when you click on an object to use it, before you can click on an action, it goes away.

I’d suggest giving more information next time. A simple “it doesnt work” isn’t enough.
Does the game open?
Get a blank screen?
Any error messages?
Thank kind of stuff.
After installing XP, did you install your video drivers?
