It was NOT listed in my Add/ Remove programs list.
In Start > Programs, it's listed there but only a web address; no uninstall option there.
No uninstall option in the ICQ program folder either! I manually deleted all of it, but the toolbar still exists in my Firefox browser!
Someone please, for the love of god, tell me how to wipe it out of existence from my pc! It's EVIL! Since it's installation, my computer has been in a sluggish shaky state. Can't download right and can't load pages right. I delete temp folder every day, and ran AdAware and antivirus and found nothing. And I don't believe in coincidences. :-X

You said yourself, you manually deleted it. When you delete a program, you DO NOT REMOVE IT FROM YOUR HARD DRIVE, you just delete the working files and then can't remove it like you want to. You can keep it from showing up by clicking on View, Toolbars and removing the checkmark by it. But to remove it now, you have to go into msconfig. If you aren't afraid to try that, and will follow strict instructions, use this link to eldergeek that tells you what to do.

Help me get this ICQ off my pc this is a childs pc we were doing something with one of her games
went to run it and this ran instead we dont have a password so we can’t even shut it off can’t uninstall please help

what do you mean if you arent afraid will this mess up the pc there has to be away my pc is running so slow and to do the addremove it says ICQ is running you have to logg out we cant even logg on
its running by itself
