Yesterday I renewed my Trend Micro anti virus & anti spyware from the 2008 version to the 2009 version. My account has been charged, but I'm unable to make the program work. The taskbar icon reads "Trend Micro AntiVirus has expired," and when I click on it, it tells me to click "Renew" to make a purchase or "If you would prefer to enter a new serial number, type it below and click Next." I enter in my newly renewed serial number, and it tells me to click finish, and that it will "soon" change the color of the icon to let me know that my service is activated. But it's been more than 24 hours, and it still hasn't come back on. Plus, when I go to Trend Micro's website, it says that my antivirus is expired and that I have to renew it.
What can I do to fix this problem? Trend Micro's technical support is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.
