Has anyone had any experience with Rising Antivirus program? I know it's from or written by China, but other than that anyone with any experience using it? I have a Dell Insp. 1525 laptop and an old win98 for a desktop. AVG won't support beginning 12/07 (I think) and Avast can never scan C..it always says "unable to scan"..Avira won't support win98..I'd like something for both that of course is FREE. Thanks..
Dell has Home xp.

AVG is the best, and it supports until forever
they just have a new version out
8.0
they urge customers to update, but they never show them the free version of the AVG, they always show the pricey one

You may be better of upgrading your desktop to XP then you have a much wider choice of anti-virus.

I believe AVG still supports Win 98, but if it doesn't I am sure
that Avast! antivirus does.
As for AVG, it is good for a free antivirus for Win XP with a built in Anti-spyware. Updates are still provided for Win XP
users. I myself run AVG on my PC with XP.
