August 3rd, 2008 · 2 Comments

I have norton anti-spyware ,and norton anti-virus. I also have spybot search and destroy. I heard running 2 different anti spyware or anti virus messes up your comp so….am I messing up my comp? I don’t know much about security.
Oh also I have windows firewall but it is turned off and can't turn back on. Just throwing that out there for information.

well if just keep this in mind if you have 2 on your computer disable one so it wont conflict and if you ever feel the need to use the one you disabled, disable the other and then run that one

now as for your firewall I’m not sure but check to see if Norton is making it impossible for you to place your firewall. Norton may have placed its own get where I’m going.

Running 2 spyware programs won’t hurt anything at all, unless they conflict and you would find that out when you tried to install it.You shouldn’t run 2 anti-virus programs, that’s true.
