My baby is healthy and fat, when I brought him he had this little faint pinkish coloration on his skin above, I didn’t think much of it I assumed it was a birthmark or something to do with him shedding at the time, well its been a month he’s doing great but the patch of skin turns black against the uva, uvb lighting, then when I turn it off it goes back to being that faded pink color, what is this and is it life threating for him?

my savannah had the same thing,the vet told me it was caused by a hot spot on his skin were it burnt him he said to start soaking him and rub some olive oil on him, i did and the spot started to go away after he shed, its not life threatning but keep an eye on him for more because it might have somthing to do with your lighting/heating.
