i have a file i need to back up. So i was thinking i can burn it onto CD/DVD or something.
But i want the file to be encrypted and have a Super Secure password. So like it will not be easy to access.
How can i do this?
is there like a program out there that does this for you.
I dont mind buying software if that is the case.
But i just want to make sure that it is Secure.
And i do NOT want this file to be left on my Hard drive at any cause. So setting a password to the file and leaving it on my pc is not an option.

Look at PGP. It will allow you to encrypt a file with fairly strong encryption. You can then store it anywhere.

Glary Utilities (freeware) has a file encrypter/decrypter built into the program under Privacy & Security. You can encrypt what you want and burn it to cd/dvd.
Simple to use program, spyware and adware free

Also, to remove it from your hard drive do not delete it as windows merely removes the reference to it, use a File Shredder:
