I get about 4-5 pop-ups per hour from my spy ware and the log shows more than that for web sites being blocked etc. Is the Internet really that bollixed up with malware or is my anti virus being overly sensitive?

Download update and THEN immunize. Do a full scan
Try those steps. If that doest stop the problem go into the firewall settings and look for a setting for security sensitivity/alert frequency. If you post you anti spy ware people could help more

It all depends where you are going and what you are downloading. All of the popular sites have Virus and Spyware waiting to be activated.
If you are sure the sites you goto are safe try lowering the level of secutity your antivirus and antispyware are set at.
