Whatever you decide, do not have more than one anti-virus program installed. There will be conflicts that could leave you unprotected.

You should install an internet security suite that covers all the bases in one package. This would include anti virus, anti spyware, anti adware, phishing protection, firewall, parental controls and more.
If Kaspersky provides these things, adding another anti virus would get in the way.

I used to use Kaspersky but I switched over to Bitdefender Total Security 2008. Much faster and lighter on the system resources. It also has a higher detection rate than Kapersky.
I use it along with Spysweeper 5.5 and pretty much nothing gets through. I leave Bitdefender on 24/7 but i only turn on spysweeper once a day to run a scan when I sleep and I turn it off in the morning.
Once feature that I really like about Bitdefender is that you can schedule your sweeps to run automatically at what ever time yourw want.
If you run Bitdefender Total Security 2008, spysweeper , and Diskeepr 2008 and set them to all run after you go to bed you wake up a fresh PC every morning. Not to mention that Bitdefender has a pretty good firewall.

Hi Bobby,
Kaspersky Internet Security it is a security pack.
You got with this: Kaspersky Antyvirus + Firewall as a ONE product called KIS (Kaspersky Internet Security)
So you shouldn't install another, second AV on your system when you have KIS suite, cause it can makes issues.
Cheers!
