I am at college and I have a Dell laptop with Vista home edition. The free McAfee trial expired and I am wondering if it is worth it to cough up the subscription fee (or any subscription fee)
I am currently using Vista’s built in protection, plus AdAware Free, AVG Free, and Threatfire.
Is it worth the extra money to get a Pro version?

Check your schools technology website — most offer free security software to students.

Never run two antivirus programs at the same time. They fight with each other and leave you more open. Since you have AVG free, a good virus protection software, you should uninstall McAfee.
