sims 2 blue screen?

I have a hp pavilion mx70. I keep getting this pop up that says Errorsomethingsomething…. After I exit out of the pop up and go back to the sims game i get a blue screen. sometimes for like 10 minutes and sometimes i have to restart computer! HELP!
