my computer has been running slow on me surprisingly slow since it died on me, and i did the whole system restore thing on it. it runs fine when I'm not online, and it just kills me because it runs so friggin slow. it takes at least 30 min. for videos too buffer, and it sucks. i use anti-virus, registry, and spyware cleaners, and they all say it's perfectly fine. is it the RAM, and if it is, which programs can i uninstall to make my PC run more efficient?

so you mean the videos are loading slow? if that's the case, then it's the internet's problem, NOT your pc. make sure you aren't downloading other programs while watching videos

well you have to know that you have to reinstall windows every once in a year, as after time the registry becomes a mess (as you install and uninstall applications), also it could be that your hard drive is HEAVILY fragmented, and also that you are running way more applications that the amount of ram available, using more virtual memory (basically memory-on-a-harddrive) that also increases fragmentation.
if you do video editing, i highl suggest you upgrade to a more powerful PC as video editing and gaming/3D design requires alot of processing power and memory.
