slow computer with kaspersky internet security 2010?

i have kaspersky internet security 2010 (paid version) but after two weeks use my computer started to become very slow i have vista basic 1gig ram 1.8Ghz dual core
just downloaded microsoft security essentails found 10 trojans computer back to full speed again

      Did you keep the computer on all the time or you reboot it in daily base? Reboot will clean out some of the load and usage of your RAM. VISTA with 1 G of RAM can not be fast anyway, add another G of RAM will help.

      Vista does not start responding good until you have at least 4gb’s of ram
      and a 300gb HD

      Make sure you do not have two antivirus software’s installed at the same time will cause issues!!
