Slow speed with wireless router, but computer is run through ethernet port wored from router?

Let me see if I have this set up correctly. I have Comcast high speed internet. The cable goes from the modem to the wireless router, then I have a ethernet cable coming from the router to my computer. My problem is slow download speeds and web pages taking forever. I have an xbox 360 and a Wii set up wireless, but they seem to be ok. The computer is still slow when both gaming systems are off.
