The malware redirects me from ANY site that tries to help me remove it. It seems like yahooanswers is my last resort. It wont let me go to bleeping computers or anything.
I cant download ANY anti-malware programs. Or any programs for that matter, I get an error/corrupt message.
Can someone post the step-by-step directions from bleeping computer or anywhere to help me remove it manually? I wish I could download an automatic program but it wont work.
I know the file names for them but it seems like everything I try doesn’t affect it at all. And system restore is disabled or something, it wont go past this morning’s restore point, which would be pointless.
Please help

Thanks for the answer Kato, but it doesn't help at all. If you read my problem, you'd notice that I cannot download ANYTHING. I can't even visit that website because it re-directs me or wont load at all.
Can anyone help?

I found your method on someone else's answer, and I tried it. I was able to locate the files and uncheck them, but I cannot delete the actual .dll files themselves when I go into system32.
Plus when I try to Start Run and type in Gpedit.msc it says it doesn't exist….
Thanks to everyone for the help so far but I CANT go to ANY of the websites you posted. I wrote that the virus re-directs me.
I don't have access to another PC.
I already have AVAST and it hasn't helped at all.
The SYSTEM RESTORE dates are disabled and do NOT go past this morning's date, which would be pointless to restore to since it's been on my computer for about a week now.
I've already tried rebooting in safe mode and scanning with avast, but it didn't work.
I KNOW the file names, but the computer wont let me delete them even though I've stopped process and disabled the programs on startup.

Dude, this had happened to me where it redirects me to a different place. For example, When i googled Antivirus xp 2008, and i see a step-by-step guide, it would take me to a different site. All i did was copy and paste the link under all that summary of the site and paste it on the url bar. And it worked. xDD

Erm, you can manually install the Gpedit.msc
Because my computer didn't had it neither.
However, It isn't in english. So yeahhh.
It seems strange, when i had this virus, i just use the url bar trick and could access a site with antivirus like Avast! AVG, and so on.
For the file in system32. It wasn't in my file on my comp. o-o
This is how I got rid of Antivirus XP 2008. It is different than the XP Antivirus 2008 most sites refer to.
First you need to stop the program from loading on startup. This is what you do to stop it:
Start, run
Type msconfig
Go to Startup tab
Uncheck lphc35dj0e1an
Uncheck rhc75dj0e1an
Click apply, then ok
Restart computer
Then you need to delete the main files this program uses. Delete the following files:
C:\windows\system32\lphc35dj0e1an.exe
C:\program files\rhc75dj0e1an\rhc75dj0e1an.exe
This should remove the program from your system but you probably still have a warning message displayed as your wallpaper in Windows and the virus removed the ability to change the wallpaper or your desktop settings.
To restore ability to change your desktop settings and select a different wallpaper and screen saver do the following:
Start, run
type Gpedit.msc
Navigate to User configuration, Administrative Templates, Control Panel, Display
Right click on Remove Display in Control Panel
Click on Properties and select Disabled
Do the same steps to change the following attributes to disabled:
Hide Desktop Tab
Prevent changing wallpaper
Hide Apperance and Themes tab
Hide Settings tab
Hide Screen Saver tab
You should now be able to use your computer normally and change the wallpaper to something other than the warning message Antivirus XP 2008 set it to.

you haven't gotten 2009 from google yet? Just came out this weekend.
You can go to bleeping computer they might have a tutorial that will show you how to get rid of it
If not go to Dr.Web.com and download "cureit" it's free and very good you will have to download in normal mode then install and run in safe mode. You'll have to do a quick scan (default) takes about 5 minutes then you can do a complete scan. They update daily so 2008 and maybe even 2009 might be on their definitions. Beat my anti-virus I pay for all to he= Why not just open a account on bleepingcomputer ,it's free
It's probably disabled all security and system restore I'm telling you Dr.Web Cureit!!!!!!! It not only got rid of the 2 that my anti-virus picked up but also 27 others I didn't even know I had!! Be sure you turn off and turn back on system restore and create a new restore point if it works. This will also get rid of any reboot hacktool they may have installed.
2009 hacked the main google start page
a long shot but check your firewall list and see if the sites you want to go to have been blocked or even task manager

I understand that this might seem quite obvious, if Im right, and I hope if it is, that it will help; cos sometimes its the most obvious that we just dont see…
Have you tried doing a system restore to an earlier date BEFORE your installation of this programme?
OR
Your add and remove from the start gate?
Just a thought
Good Luck PW xx
