  It has a “60 day trial” but it isn’t really a trial as such, as long as you register with them they send you a key free of charge

  Wtf? AVG is free for a reason. The false positives and the bad experience you will get from it unless you are an advanced user, which is unlikely due to the asking of this question.

  For free users, get Avira. That is the foolproof antivirus and is way better than AVG from my experiences with many AVs.

  i recommend panda global security you can pay for it if you want but it has worked for me and i like it because it protects you a lot….

  Avira anti virus going now to 3 years of using it and it works great doesn’t slow my computer. I tried AVG and Avast but did some research and it showed that they don’t work as well as Avira so forget those. Its free for a year then you will need to update it but just uninstall it and download it again and it will work fine.
