Somebody who knows a lot about Norton-I NEED YOUR HELP!?

June 21st, 2008 · 2 Comments

I renewed my Norton subscription today and I'm having major problems.
It says my computer is at risk, that the Antivirus software is turned off. But its turned on! I've done everything…I've gone to Help & Support and Autofix dectected nothing wrong. What do I do?

Here's a screenshot of what the problem looks like:

I have XP not Vista.

Windows is not recognizing you antivirus software. This is not a big deal, to fix it on Vista
      go to Start
      -Control Panel
      -Security
      -Security Center
      -malware protection
and set virus protection to not monitored

what you can do is, go to this website
      http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/selectproduct_ts.jsp

and select your version of norton antivirus (actually i dont know what that version is) then see a list of technical issues and check the solution for it, then it will guide you through the steps. i have 360 and i had the same problem as this. i tried this and it worked.
