It suddenly stopped playing a couple days ago and I haven't had time to investigte until now… Nothing seems to be wrong with my Driver or device since my computer detects them both and plays audio and video files but It doesn't hae any sound…
I checked the volume both internally, on the monitor, and on the speakers…
I unplugged the speakers from the computer and plugged in an MP3 player and the sound plays so there is no problem with my speakers…
My Device and Driver is on
Any ideas on what is happening and what I could do..?

Your driver may require and update, just check it yourself encase XP missed it if not then you will probably need a new sound card.

1. find out your computer MODEL NAME
2. search for you computer model names CHIPSET
3. search for DRIVER INSTALLATION of your chipsets name.
4. install it.
only way to do it. (unless you have the cd that came with your computer)

there's bar below your screen and there is a pointer <
click on it.there is a picture of a speaker ( volume)
click on it and a new window will open
the fist column is volume control . just increase it as much as you want.
