spybot and AVG together?

September 23rd, 2008 · 3 Comments

I already have spybot on my computer and no virus protector because I though spybot was a virus protector, but after researching I think its just for spyware. So I want to download AVG but will the two conflict with each other and not work? Thanks

They work together, but I suggest instead of AVG you go with avast!
It has a higher rate for detecting malicious files.
Also it uses less memory, it runs quietly. It auto updates. And it never lets you down!

We have AVG and Spybot on my main computer, my laptop, and my wife’s main computer and laptop, and have had no trouble with them getting along.

They should run well together as long as you have enough ram installed to run them. Check system requirements for both programs because they are both memory hungry applications.
