I accidently download a file which had some kind of malware. When i run it, it said that my computer is infected with viruses and click the below button to download antispyware. I did so and got IE antivir, Another fake spyware. I got rid of Ie antivir using spyware doctor. But the message to download it pops out everytime. Weach time i open a folder, the message come and no matter what i click, it opens internet explorer and takes me to their site. Please help me remove this message.

Download SuperAntiSpyware free version and run a full scan, this should fix it.
EDIT:Also download and use Firefox 3 as your web browser from now on, it is much safer than Internet Explorer.

sounds like a smitfraud variant. There is a bit of that going around again, it seems to go in spurts.
Try downloading smitfraud.exe from a trusted antivirus site (it will be free) run the tool. follow instructions. you should not have to format your drive.

your obviously new to computers, you can download a program called ad-aware from downloads.com and just scan and remove anything it finds. and next time, don't go around clicking everything youre told to click, for your own sakes, just pretend there is a virus behind every link you encounter that tells you to "Click Here" provided it is from an unknown, or uncredited source.
