Spyware and Viruses??

June 6th, 2008 · 4 Comments

Ok so my computer is playing up something severe. I downloaded something from an un-trustable website (I don't know why) and there's now spyware and viruses everywhere. I am running the computer in safe mode on the Administrator account because the computer is virtually useless otherwise, for example, on my user account in normal mode (and safe mode too actually) it won't let me access My Computer or the C drive or anything really, I can only access the desktop. I have downloaded several free programs (ad-aware, spybot) which have done nothing and have run Anti-Vir which did nothing. I need an extremely effective program here that can install and run in safe mode and preferably free.

P.S I'm on Windows XP

Thank you
It also won't let me access system restore
