im using AVG anti-spyware prog. and i do a fast scan and there is always like 20 tracking cookies so i delete them when scan is finished and when i do another scan like 15 mins later they are all back again!
Why are they still there again when i have delted them? doesnt avg as get rid of them for good?
but im using firefox and it only says allow cookies for session only or keep until expire or allow all

Do a full scan, then you will see the full source

they r in ur recycler bin(system restore) they r essentially harmless there unless u restore ur system to a previous point u can get rid of them by disabling system restore(rt clik my comp/properties/system restore) then reenabling it after reboot
if u want to b rid of those tracking cookie detections
internet options/privacy/override auto cookie handling/allow 1st party cookies block 3rd party cookies alsways allow session cookies
then use a hosts file

Cookies are actually harmless text files that certain websites will place onto the hard drive of your computer. Your Internet Browser will then load the information into memory while you are visiting their site. The Cookie itself, actually takes up very little space and acts as an identification card for the visiting site. You can compare this to visiting your favorite restaurant where your food server will usually remember certain aspects of how you like your food prepared and what you usually order. This information would obviously be based upon his familiarity of your prior visits. Well Cookies actually act in a similar manner and do not contain viruses as a virus must be executable file
