I have just recently got a new computer, and I was just going about downloading anti-virus and anti-spyware programs etc. to help be protected.
But, after I got Hitman Pro 2 it installed some programs (which is what it is meant to do) but it download Spyware Doctor. I thought this would just be another anti-virus, but after I found that AVG had found a Trojan horse, from Spyware Doctor! After running a scan I found 54! Yes 54 Trojan’s, all the same from Spy ware Doctor, I immediately deleted it
Is this suppose to do this??

You say you got all of this from Spyware Doctor? Spyware Doctor is a legitimate program. Are you shore it's Spyware Doctor and not Spy Doctor? Spy Doctor is rogue.
Try calling this number it's for Spyware Doctor in North America +1-800-764-5783
this is really bothering me, I have used Spyware Docor before and found it to be a real good program there has to be be something very wrong here.

AVG is just displaying false positives it did the same with my Advanced Windows Care program saying it was adware.
You should forget AVG 8 free edition it has a nice interface but is poor at blocking viruses so not worth using.
I've tested both Avast Home Edition (free) and AVG 8.0 (free), AVG let me save 75% of the test viruses to my hard drive only blocking 25% were as Avast blocked 75% of viruses, Avast picked up the other 25% of the viruses that were in zip files the second I tried to extract them.
Avast and Antivir are the best free antivirus programs get then from http://www.download.com.
I use Avast combined with Comodo Pro on my XP home computer and have no problems with virus's or spyware.
Test them yourself: http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm

For starters AVG is absolute garbage. You should really be using something like Avira or Avast in its place.
Secondly, Spyware Doctor is the SINGLE BEST antispyware program. There’s no way that you got any type of trojan by using that program.
Third, there’s a good chance that you’re reading the name of the trojan wrong or it’s designed to resemble Spyware Doctor. Either way AVG is still worthless. I’d follow this guide for full removal of the viruses:
