I have avast and I did a scan and it didnt come up with anything. I wanted to try spyware doctor because I didn't really understand the avast, and doctor said i had 4 of them?

Most probably the malwares found by spywaredoctor are trojans or spywares. Avast being an antivirus is only good at detecting viruses. Remember that a virus is different from a trojan as it is also different from a spyware.

spyware doc is spyware in itself try spybot search and destroy it is much better and free
spyware doc try's to scare you into buying the full version of their program
