I have spyware that keeps randomly make false security notices pop up, which tell me I have spyware. These notices redirect me to some fake website that asks me to download the program to rid my computer of the spyware but it is beyond obvious that it is fake. What free programs could I possibly use to remove it? Have any of you guys had this and successfully removed it? If so how? I am looking for a FREE solution.

My best solution:
1. Lavasoft Adware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
I have tried many free and commercial, but none come closer to this.
Do a complete scan and reboot the system.

Try taking a look at freeware alternatives like Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy. They do a good job of picking up spyware/malware. Hope this helps.

You might not have spyware. It could be you have downloaded programs and its telling you this information. May i recommend going and unistalling programs you think may be affecting. Like pop-ups you have installed.
For spyware check out Ad-Aware and AVG
Hope it helps, and they are both free

Use this spyware program (http://www.superantispyware.com) This is a very good spyware program that I always highly recomend to others and it is free. So give it a try as I am sure that you will be happy that you did, and it will get rid of all spyware. Good Luck.

Hello dido,
It sounds like you have downloaded a rogue malware program. It will take a specialized program to remove this infection.
Simply uninstalling the program will probably still leave the computer infected.
A couple of months ago, I accidentally downloaded a program from somewhere that infected my computer with malware.
My malware infection was so bad, I thought that I would have to get a new computer.
It wasn't until I found a website in google that gave honest review of spyware and malware removers that I found AdwareAlert.

I downloaded and registered it, and I couldn't be happier. It removed my malware infection, and also a couple spyware infections I didn't even know I had.
It has kept my computer running fast, and spyware free for a couple of months now. I highly recommend it.
The website I found can be visited above.
Hope this was helpful.
