a "system error" keeps on popping up on my laptop screen
it says
" Your computer is infected with a dangerous virus
Note: strongly recommended to install antispyware program to clean your system and avoid total crash of your computer.
click ok to download antispyware"
so what do you think? how can I fix this? it is annoying and I have no idea how serious this warning is? do they just want me to buy their anti-spyware/program?
I have installed Mcafee security, Spybot search and destroy, Lava soft Ad-aware and Ccleaner, are those software not enough to clean my system?
please help!
thanks

Are you sure that it is not a rogue antispyware trying to install some bad "Things" in your computer???
Try getting in safe mode and scan thoroughly using both Mcafee and Spybot.

You have an adware problem. Spybot-Search&Destroy is quite efficient in removing such infections. Just update its definitions and run a scan on your computer. It will remove the infection using its secure shredder.

security programs can't detect 'dangerous virus' because this system alert pop-up is fabricated. however your antispyware should detect the rogue application that loads 'dangerous virus' pop-up. update your antispyware and run a scan again. if that doesn't help i strongly recommend manual removal tutorial at http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-dangerous-virus.html
