My dad put it on my pc, but apparently it expired because it's saying I need to pay $50 to fix the problems that it's listing.
I tried going to the control panel and deleting it and looking it up on my start menu. The thing is driving me insane…I can't type this without it popping up four times.
Are there any free decent anti virus programs?
I would really appreciate it.
(And it won't let me exit it..just pops back up into the main program when I try to right click for the exit option)
Thank you so much to everyone who suggested Malwarebytes. It worked perfectly.
I've had Spybot on my PC for a while, but it never finds anything it needs to be.

It's probably a scam you should tell your parents and get it taken care of ASAP. As far as decent antivirus programs i recommend Avast Free Home Edition or Avg Free Home Edition.

First make sure you are the adminatrator. Then go to the control panel and find the program one that says install/ uninstall or install/remove.
Then click the ones you don't want but first click to remove it.
And a good protecter is NORTON SECURITY and SPYBOT DESTROYER

That's a known bad boy, if I'm remembering it right - you might want your Dad to take some time looking at the websites of Symantec or McAfee or Sophos or one of them to get some idea of what's going arond and what's a good approach to take. There are some good free programs out there to help deal with some of the scum, like Spybot S&D or Ad-aware, but lately I've been using the MAM screener program alongside the Symantec antivirus. I've left you the link to Malwarebytes below; you might want to get in the habit of doing a Google on anything you're not familiar with first, though, before you download stuff.

Use Malwarebytes', SpywareBlaster, and Spybot - S&D. That should be enough to protect you from most things.
