I took my laptop to Best Buy and I was told my computer might be running slow b/c of spyware that is already in it. I want to remove that spyware, but I am unsure of how to. I purchased Karspersky's Anti-Virus & Anti-Spyware (99% detection rate) and did a full scan that found nothing. If the people at Best Buy thought there was spyware on my laptop, then most likely would the spyware software not have found it? Anyways….say there is spyware on my comp….what do I do about it? Press the 'Fix Now' button or are there more steps to follow? I keep reading something about putting your computer in 'SAFE MODE'….what is that all about?

and Microsoft antispyware.
update them and run them. then you need to update them and run them weekly in order for them to work
