Hi. I am running Windows XP on my MacBook. I have the latest updates for Symantec Antivirus, full version. Lately, when ever I tell it to do any type of scan, any type of settings, Symantec will act like it is scanning, but I cannot see its progress, or anything. After checking with the Task Manager, I find that Symantec is not responding. After force-quitting the program, I cannot open Symantec again before restarting the computer. I checked Symantec's Scan History, and all the scans say either "scan completed" or "scanning…." even after a restart. I checked Symantec's virus-history, and it says I have a few blood-hounds, all which were cleaned by deletion. Can someone please help me out here? I know that half of you hate Symantec, but if we can get over this, that would be great. Thanks to all.
